356 Full Restoration
Church of The Air-cooled has taken the task of rebuilding this original owner car to factory delivered condition!
The engine has been completely rebuilt using hard to obtain parts with main origins of Germany. This engine has been rebuilt to factory quality standards with such details as Nos pistons, rings, bearings, etc. The engine has been built with a standard crank with German factory bearings. Not a single component has been left untouched. The complete originality has been obtained by keeping all specifications factory original to this model’s birth. The end result is a 356 that runs, drives, & survives as it left the factory!
All accessories have been rebuilt including generator, carburetors, fuel pump, distributor, etc. The transmission has been completely rebuilt with factory Nos and Porsche supplied bearings. Anything lacking perfection has been replaced or rebuilt on this car. The look, feel, & functioning of this car will be in contest with the high standards of it’s original build. We are proud of Porsche, and Porsche would be proud! It’s just what we do!

Fiat Multipla
This adorable Fiat Multipla unfortunately had been forced to spend 30 years under a cover by it’s previous owner. Two months after being towed in, this little Multipla has been producing miles of smiles ever sense!
The owner has dubbed this his favorite automobile that he has ever owned (among many cars)! Not only that, the most reliable. Figure that, a 1957, that has gone through the works at Church, has been deemed the most reliable. How? Factory standards. The rule book that we play by, the reason why is You!
We completely rebuilt the brake system. Each component, searched high and low, comes up discontinued, not available. Each component had to be rebuilt. Bearings were available, but beyond that, each piece had to be hand rebuilt or machined. The drums have been re-sleeved, shoes re-lined, hoses rebuilt, and brake lines hand formed! The result, perfect, reliable brakes!
We didn’t end at the brakes, that was just the start! We also rebuilt the starting motor, engine (all components, generator, distributor, carburetor fuel pump,etc), axles, steering, suspension, locks, etc!
See what a service at Church of the Air-cooled makes possible? A car that most would moth ball away figuring parts aren’t available and honest, reliable service can’t be found, Well, Now it is! It’s Just what we do!
Future plans for this multipla are to convert to full solar powered electric! Designs are being drawn upon and we have focus on a universal kit we hope to have available for any classic car!

BMW Isetta
Since the day it arrived at Church, the ‘Lemon drop’ has always been in the spotlights. It’s funky shape, front-opening door, four (three?) wheels and tiny size has melted many people hearts on their stroll along Columbus avenue. Not to mention – it’s also a convertile.
The owner had recently acquired this beauty in an online auction site and brought it to the Church to fix the brakes and the clutch cable, everything else was supposed to be in a good condition. Not surprisingly, it was not. The Isetta was enjoying the Church for a while and got almost a full restoration.
Now it’s happily rolling around bringing the sunshine to everyone it encounters. You might get lucky and spot it somewhere in the North beach neighbourhood!
